We are seeking a strong, seasoned, senior medical copywriter with 8 – 10 years of experience. Project types include: press releases, social media, advertising, white papers, medical book chapters, brochures, sell sheets and product descriptions. Position also includes managing clipping service as the main point of contact (Cyberalerts). Writing, uploading content and pulling reports (Businesswire).
•Must have previous experience in either medical device, biopharma or hospital system and have a working knowledge of medical terminology and research.
•Experience with medical copywriting, advertising copy, social media copy, proofreading, editing, checking for trademarks and registration, product naming, finding and properly citing references and research.
•Should be a mature, self-starter with good communication skills and work well with little to no supervision.
•Must be able to focus in a room with others.
•Must be able to adjust to different personality types and work from subject matter expert’s copy points and adjust copy based on their feedback.
•Should have a working knowledge of Sharepoint 2007 and 2013 to post internal communications for our intranet.
