Role Summary/Purpose:

The Product & Market Development candidate will play a key role in developing & driving growth strategies for the business. By immersing themself in technology and identifying consumer trends, the senior manager will develop strategic sales plans, build new business relationships and ultimately deliver incremental revenue streams. The role will serve as the primary point of contact internally, working closely with the marketing, product management, and technology/operations teams to bring to market new sales initiatives. This position reports to the Vice President, Digitial Distribution.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate US eCommerce marketplace and make recommendations on channel expansion opportunities
  • Conduct ongoing outbound communication to generate and cultivate new partnership leads from multiple sources
  • Act as the first point of contact with potential partners to incubate new deals, pitch opportunities tailored to the unique needs of each company
  • Research and analyze market conditions to articulate the value proposition of digital movie sales to prospective partners via sales decks, and mock-ups, userflows
  • Assess viability of various business models to ensure profitability using analytics to drive decisions & recommendations
  • Remain versed in customer’s products and services as well as competitive offerings that may impact partner offerings and collaborate with partners to develop innovative merchandising and marketing plans
  • Present programming, pricing, and promotional opportunities to partners
  • Work closely with internal teams to execute business and partner priorities
  • Address partner information requests and manage day-to-day communication

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-7 years of new business development, sales experience or relevant role
  • Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication, writing and project management skills with the ability to multi-task/prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrates follow-through, and adheres to deadlines
  • An understanding & passion for technology
  • Experience in cold calling and a proactive CAN DO attitude!
  • High degree of computer proficiency including strong knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint, as well as a proficiency with or willingness to learn Invision, Sketch or another prototyping tool
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or relevant field
  • Willingness to travel

    • Ability to articulate the takeaways of complex analyses simply and effectively to executive stakeholders using tools such as PowerPoint
