Job Description

The Project Manager organizes, leads and delivers
client projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will work closely
with external clients, Program Managers, Sales, Operations & Support, and
Engineering Project Managers to deliver their solution, providing expertise and
advice, and you will have a key role in building and maintaining client


The main responsibilities of this role are to liaise with
project stakeholders, lead resources within the project and manage the delivery
of the project from initial concept past delivery. The ability to identify
risk, escalate and collaborate to drive out solutions is critical to the
success of the Project Manager. They should be highly organized and motivated
with excellent communication and team building skills, and to be experienced in
having managed projects in a high energy environment, ideally on a global level.


Senior Level

Project Managers are expected to have delivered client facing enterprise level
deployments for at least 7 years and be willing to lead 2 major client
implementations while overseeing 1-2 pre-existing clients. They demonstrate
natural leadership, business acumen, and professional maturity.


General Responsibilities

Project Leadership- You are responsible for a
well-organized and properly documented project.

  • Oversee
    RMS implementation projects and supporting teams, both internally and
    externally with clients.  Must organize,
    manage, direct and drive all activities and artifacts for the program from RFP/RFI
    to after delivery and warranty phase. Some work will sustain long after
    commercial Go-Live.
  • Implement
    and streamline consistent processes across projects according to the needs of
    leadership as well as the client.
  • Graceful multitasking
  • Collaborate
    with Program Managers to ensure engagement throughout project, as well as
    efficient handoff during project transition to business as usual.
  • Schedule
    and facilitate client and internal meetings via telephone, web and face-to-face:
    • Kick off workshop(s)
    • Ongoing status updates
    • Engineering review(s)
    • Requirements validation session(s)
    • UAT session(s)
    • Deployment meeting(s)
    • Support and operational handoff workshop(s)


Team Leadership- You are to embody the example and
maintain the project cadence.

  • Lead
    and manage project to deliver business objectives, set the example, and
    maintain cadence
  • Ensure
    continuous alignment of scope and strategic business objectives. Collaborate with
    the Product and Program Managers to make recommendations to modify the project
    scope, resource allocation, and timing to enhance effectiveness toward business
    result and strategic intent
  • Leverage
    sales leadership to aid in driving change, change requests, timeline
    adjustments with the client
  • Partner
    with Program Managers and Product to maintain project team cohesion
  • Collaborate
    with the IT Project Managers to ensure timely delivery


Communication- You are the voice of the project team
to leadership.

  • Regularly
    communicate progress, issues and risks to management
  • Ability
    to design and maintain project artefacts such as project schedules, RAID logs,
    meeting minutes, status presentations, project updates and UAT/deployment plans
  • Identify
    all risks associated with the project and determine mitigating action plans to
    reduce the likelihood of the risk occurring and contingencies in case the risk
  • Take
    corrective action to improve the RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status of the project
    where necessary
  • Occasional
    travel between regional sites as well as some international travel will be


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • PMP and/or Six Sigma certification a plus


  • Mandatory 5+ years’ experience in project management
  • Client facing exposure with the desire and ability to
    develop strong relationships
  • Must be a self-motivated team leader, with strong
    organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail along with an aptitude
    to take ownership
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or
    hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall development
  • Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organization
    both internally and externally, comfortable escalating to external clients
  • Ability to design items of communication to convey complex
    issues in an easily understood fashion to team members, clients and leadership
  • Excellent project management skills including previous use
    of PM tools and techniques
  • Adaptable and flexible and sets the example for the project
