Sr. PR / Communications Manager

Our client, a Fortune 500 energy services client is looking to hire a key Corporate Communications Manager Full-time.
This role is critical to driving the implementation of external and internal communications strategies, plans, programs and events to support the strategic goals of the company.
We are looking for a PR professional who can think quickly, pivot and provide communications counsel in a number of areas, including social media, content strategy and internal communications.
Your core responsibilities:
-Develop and communicate the company's story to external and internal audience (press releases, social media content, employee communications and executive speeches)
-Implement CEO's employee engagement program (meeting coordination, content development and coordination of video messages)
- Lead the development of the company's digital content strategy.
-Proactively review and develop timely content for the website and intranet.
-Support media relations activities, including developing and executing strategies for news announcements, managing issues and serving as a media spokesperson.
-Plan and execute select media and employee events
The ideal candidate has:
-7-9 years of corporate agency or public-sector public relations experience.
-Excellent writing, communications planning, issues and project management skills.
-Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment.
-Experience as a media spokesperson.
-Ability to work in a large, complex organization.
-Experience interfacing with senior executives.
++Energy-industry experience a HUGE PLUS
++Adobe Creative Suite skills are plus.
