  • Oversee the Edit/Creative Services department in daily broadcast and digital operation and content creation
  • Work closely with Digital department in the conceptualization and creation of short and long-form content for website, app, and social media platforms
  • Collaborate with General Manager and Marketing team to create compelling advertising content and campaigns for broadcast air and digital platforms
  • Manage assigned campaigns, on-air promos, and original digital content through the production process - shooting, editing, graphic production, and post production - with a team of preditors (producer/writer/editor), graphic artists and freelancers.
  • Communicate with and execute on behalf of NBC Sports corporate and global initiatives. Work with and ,when applicable, customize NBC templates to best serve the Northwest sports market while maintaining the integrity of the NBC Sports brand.
  • Work with Engineering department to maintain the edit server, edit equipment, and to ensure technical issues and needs are addressed
  • Responsible for an ongoing workload of multiple projects at a time, including on-air promos, sales request, social media designs, and website materials
  • Responsible for managing and mentoring a team of direct reports, carrying out administrative tasks, and scheduling
  • Serve as a liaison between production, digital media, marketing, engineering, sales, and other departments
  • Work (as needed) as an editor on live pre and post-game shows and daily sports talk shows
  • Maintain and ensure proper organization of network's content archive


  • Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Motion Graphics Production, Fine Art, Graphic Design or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills required- both verbal and written
  • Experience as a producer and/or editor in sports media and digital content production
  • Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and the creative production workflow
  • Marketing and/or promotions experience related to sports, media, cable or entertainment industries
  • Management experience, including but not limited to scheduling, coordinating, and mentoring a team of creative employees
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, work as a team and cultivate internal and external relationships
  • Strong leadership qualities and work ethic and ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours
