We are building a robust and adaptable platform which will unlock commerce opportunities within the context of content in multiple mediums across a wide variety of digital platforms. The Head of Business Intelligence will have the opportunity to partner with the leadership team to set team KPIs globally as well as create a flexible data roadmap to support changing business demands.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in rolling out and scaling business intelligence tools in a fast growing e-commerce environment. You have a breadth of knowledge, from media attribution modeling to customer journey mapping to customer segmentation and clustering. You are exceptional at prioritizing work, setting expectations and communicating to stakeholders. You love telling a story with data and creating actionable insights and are a strategic thinker, connecting the dots between data and financial results to create and advocate for your own strategies to drive growth.

Develop and Implement Data Roadmap

Align with merchandising, marketing, product and department leadership to define and develop the analytics roadmap for the department’s most important initiatives.

Develop a strong working relationship with business partners and a deep understanding of their key business metrics, levers, strategy and goals.

Automate reporting within the organization, helping all teams self serve data, create visualizations, and dashboard actionable KPIs

Create and maintain the BI roadmap and with actionable deliverables, using process (gantt charts, Jira) and documentation to keep things running smoothly.

Work Cross-Functionally to Forward Business Goals

In partnership with Finance & Accounting, streamline financial reporting within various systems and align business KPIs

In partnership with Marketing, develop an attribution model to create efficiency within cost of acquisition and extract actionable insights on what drives customer LTV through rigorous segmentation

In partnership with Marketing & Product facilitate the design, implementation, and analysis of A/B testing campaigns for paid customer acquisition audience development efforts

In partnership with Product, review new feature development and advise on data requirements for new initiatives

•5+ years of experience working in analytics or business intelligence for consumer facing e-commerce.

•Management experience, including success in building and scaling analytic teams

•Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Management or other quantitative discipline field with strong academic record preferred

•Demonstrated success developing an analytics roadmap and providing recommendations that direct business strategy and achieve both high impact results and innovative solutions

•Excellent communication and data presentation skills covering objectives, plans, status, roadblocks, and results with the ability to tailor communication style based on the audience

•Experience with common web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Heap Analytics, MixPanel, Adobe Analytics, etc.
