The Digital Marketing Associate works as an integral part of the marketing & communications team to produce and deploy marketing emails based on strategic objectives and organizational priorities.


  • Produce and deploy customized emails, achieving proficiency with the technologies and software used by the team
  • Produce emails in line with established QA (quality assurance) practices and consistent with the organization’s brand and communication guidelines
  • Work with staff to schedule emails and support management of the email deployment calendar
  • Process and distribute email performance reports
  • Maintain “Do Not Email” and other subscription preference lists
  • Support testing and system improvements
  • Collaborate closely with marketing executives and project managers to support departmental and organizational goals, with a strong focus on event lifecycle and promotion
  • Maintain awareness of email best practices
  • Anticipate challenges and suggest creative solutions


  • Minimum 1 – 3 years professional work experience, with a preference for those with some knowledge of marketing and communications
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and an aptitude to learn more in this area
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with fast, flexible, and cooperative style, and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent project, time, and task management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Experience working with email service providers a plus
  • Experience managing digital projects from conception to completion a plus
  • Jewish philanthropy experience a plus
  • 4-year college degree required
