Leads the creative vision and strategy for pitching, presentation and event design to elevate UBD’s presence and standing with key internal and external partners.Cultivates strong relationships with business leaders and senior executives through open door communication and connecting dots across ideas and businesses to drive creativity and deliver one-voice creative vision.Develops creative strategies and tools that guide enterprise, defines and shapes brands, and unlocks revenue.Designs and produces presentations, ensuring exceptional creative quality, for internal and external use.Translates the vision of “C”-level executives into sticky, compelling ideas, AKA storytelling, in both presentation and written formats. Continuously pushes the boundaries of creativity in presentation work and storytelling to create dynamic pitch materials while upholding global brand standards.Designs creative brand experiences including experiential marketing, trade shows, exhibits, events and installations.Provides senior creative counsel and partners with executive leadership across the organization to guide messaging and creative design.Leads research in trends, presentation design, event design and technology.Closely collaborates with project management team to ensure final delivery of all projects meet deadline and budget requirements.Strong voice in development and deployment of new processes to ensure team viability and growth.Offers onsite creative expertise for key events and meetings, as required.Oversees, guides, inspires and manages internal creative team and external creative resources.Leads best in class creative culture by promoting innovation, collaboration and problem-solving through a solution-oriented approach that drives for results.

The PositionUniversal Brand Development’s Multimedia team is part of the Franchise Management function and manages the vision and voice of our leadership and global brands through: presentation design, event design, and global asset production and management.

The VP, Creative Design, Multimedia will be a seasoned individual with experience leading global creative strategy and hands on execution to elevate business units and brands. This role will work closely with a planning and production partner to manage an extensive slate of creative projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Minimum of 10 years of creative direction experience including idea inception, leading design strategy and executional excellence, of multiple small and large scale concepts to pitch new business or translate the vision of a brand.
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on technical design experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a creative team as well as working directly with “C”-level executives.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends, as needed, and travel both domestically and internationally (up to 25% of the role).
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Experienced senior-level manager with demonstrated team leadership ability.
Strong eye for design and how design translates to a broad range of outputs (on-screen, iPad/mobile devices, print).
Ability to juggle long and short-term deadlines in a dynamic working environment.
- Keynote, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Video Editing Software.
- Knowledge of audio/visual systems for large-scale business meetings.
- Ability to communicate information and data effectively with the use of animation, builds, as well as the creation of easy to understand charts, graphs and diagrams.
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Arts or Design preferred.
