The Rutgers University Foundation is seeking a part time Digital Systems and Support Coordinator to support the Alumni Engagement team.  Reporting to the Director of Digital Systems and Strategy and the Associate Vice President for Alumni Engagement, the Digital Systems Coordinator will help organize, coordinate, and implement the upkeep of the Rutgers University Alumni Association’s (RUAA) various websites, emails, and event management system.

Additionally, the digital systems coordinator will assist with day-to-day tracking of project requests, input and monitor support tickets with the foundation’s software vendors, and other administrative duties as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Publish new site content/manage changes to existing content on the association’s websites in the content management system as requested
  • Build and deploy event, benefit, volunteer, career, and charter group emails as requested in the foundation’s marketing automation system
  • Build and launch Rutgers events as requested in the foundation’s event management system
  • Monitor site/email/event update request forms, handling updates when possible and ensuring that all others are routed to the proper contact in a timely fashion
  • Proofread and test emails, event registrations, and web copy
  • Handle input/monitoring of troubleshooting tickets with external vendors and internal partners
  • Help set up campaigns in Marketo and CVENT systems, including list and user setup and other technical setup needs
  • Other administrative duties as necessary
  • Create marketing reports to measure success of initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or other related fields
  • Experience working in content management systems preferred (WordPress and iModules experience preferred but not required)
  • Experience working in marketing automation software preferred (Marketo and Salesforce/Marketing Cloud experience strongly preferred)
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills (Proficiency in Chicago or AP style preferred)
  • Experience working in event management software preferred (CVENT experience strongly preferred)
  • HTML knowledge preferred
  • 1-3 years professional experience or equivalent in technical skill level and systems experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Polished and professional communication style
  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with competing priority levels
  • Adept at developing and maintaining positive, meaningful partner relationship
