Cox Communications is now hiring for a Growth Management Office Analyst for their Cox2M business line. Cox2M is a new Internet of Things (IoT) business line venture within Cox Communications. About the job:

Join the ground floor of a dynamic, fast paced, environment where you will engage on a very diverse set of topics providing the strategic fact base and insight required for the effective building and steering of the Cox2M business. You will work very closely with the business leadership team in the Cox2M Growth Management office which oversees and supports the execution of all Cox2M workstreams and business lines. You will assist with creation of the Cox2M strategic roadmap, improving business processes and ensuring the Cox2M business hits growth milestones.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Support the creation of Cox2M strategic roadmap and help shape the direction of the new Cox2M venture by researching prospective trends, business partners, competitors, emerging technologies, and applications
• Assist with analyses and develop meaningful recommendations that provide direction and/or position for new business opportunities or strategic positioning
• Identify and collect data required for assessment of Cox2M initiatives progress and our new products and services launches; utilize these findings to develop a recommendation
• Develop and maintain detailed analytical models to support financial, technical and operational decisions regarding Cox2M day to day operations and near, mid and long-term initiatives
• Create analyses, fact base, white papers, and presentations that increase the Cox2M business exposure with both internal and external contributors and decision makers
• Support from time to time the operations, product, and sales teams
• Regularly interact with business owners and high-level stakeholders
• Support vendor relationships and vendor onboarding
• Travel up to 50% (Two weeks a month)

Qualifications
Minimum


• 2 or more years of experience analyzing and trying to solve complex business problems
• Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and appetite to learn and implement new tools
• Comfortable working on multiple workstreams and topics at the same time, pushing to get things done, at times with limited information, comfortable reaching out and securing engagement of multiple team members for information, brainstorming, or guidance
• Solid interpersonal, presentation, and collaborative skills and commitment to develop further skills and work effectively with teams throughout organization
• Natural curiosity and tendency to question the status quo combined with proven solid analytical and problem solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills


Preferred

• BS/BA in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Strategy, Marketing, Business, etc.)
• Prior experience working for a top tier management consulting firm, investment bank, or equity research a plus
• Financial modeling experience
