CNBC is partnering with Acorns, America’s fastest-growing financial wellness system, on the importance of educating current and future investors. We are building an editorial and production team to create actionable, relatable and uplifting personal finance and investing content that will inspire and empower everyday Americans to make informed financial decisions.

The Graphics Editor will be responsible for creating and designing engaging, innovative and visually interesting graphics, charts and infographics that bring stories to life.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a short term position with an estimated duration through Summer 2020, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
·Design custom graphics for print and social media
·Develop innovative and creative ways of presenting data and information, while maintaining accuracy and editorial integrity
·Partner with editorial staff to create standalone infographics
• Ensure the look and feel of graphic solutions are consistent with brand and style guidelines
·Special projects as assigned

• Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience producing, editing and working in design production
• Knowledgeable and proficient in the latest Adobe Creative Suite
• Proven ability to create graphics and designs that drive audience and engagement online
• Ability to decipher and express data in meaningful and visually engaging ways
• Able to work on quick deadlines, alongside other project stakeholders
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY

• Ongoing interest in, and knowledge of, current design and graphics trends
• Experience or interest in business journalism or personal finance and investing topics
• Knowledge of financial markets and terminology
• Excellent communication skills
