Simmons-Boardman Publishing Co. is seeking an Account Manager to work for two of its leading B2B monthly magazines. This sales position will be based in its New York, NY, office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and presentation skills, have a strong work ethic and professional appearance, and have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, with a solid background in print and digital media and online sales.
As Account Manager you will be responsible for:
• Developing, growing and maintaining a core client base and strategic media partners for print, digital, online and events.
• Tracking and maintaining complete and current customer records, marketing information and sales activity
• Interfacing and developing strong relationships with agencies
• Attending trade shows and making client calls as a representative of the magazines
