Vin Solutions, a Cox Automotive brand, is seeking a Product Manager for a full-time position in Mission, KS.

The Product Manager for the Reporting Platform is responsible
for working with internal and external stakeholders, development teams, User
Experience, Cox Automotive business units, and other Product Managers to build,
enhance, and manage one or more products using Agile software methodologies. This
role is focused on driving innovation in the areas of reporting and analytics
for Connect CRM.

The Product Manager must have experience in data analysis,
development, reporting, or business intelligence. Additionally, this role
requires a high-level technical understanding of web applications, data
modeling, and excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills. In
addition, the Product Manager must effectively communicate, document, and
execute on requirements in alignment with the vision for Cox Automotive.


The Product Manager works closely with the Readiness team for
planning, go-to-market strategy, product enhancements, and monitoring
performance metrics, with a goal of ensuring the strategy is supported and the
tactical plan is properly developed and executed.


Principle Duties

Construct and document features and acceptance
criteria that clearly articulate the need and the business value according to
our Cox Automotive Agile standards

Present ideas for process and systems
improvement recommendations that assist the business in achieving its goals and
objectives, while leveraging best practices and professional experiences

Ensure appropriate product artifacts are
produced (e.g. product positioning, opportunity canvas, business plan)

Desire to work in a fast-paced environment where information must be readily digested
and decisions made expeditiously

Must have excellent critical thinking skills -
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of
alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Work closely and interact directly with stakeholders,
users, developers, and other business units to identify, interpret, and
document business requirements

Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of Connect
CRM and customer needs, as well as other business units within Cox Automotive

Manage business stakeholder communication to
communicate key information, decisions, status, and timelines

Responsible for day-to-day product scrum
responsibilities including writing and prioritizing stories when necessary and
attending team meetings

Conduct analysis that identifies current state
business process or system inadequacies

Communicate any impacts or changes in project
scope to team members and leadership

Work with team to proactively identify work,
communicate, and resolve project issues and risks that interfere with project
execution or success

Define acceptance criteria for development
teams, and if needed, perform UAT activities to ensure accuracy and quality

Assist other Product Managers, Agile
Lead/Scrum Master, User Experience architects and designers, and Quality
Analysts as needed or required

Ability to work effectively on multiple
assignments, activities or projects

Assist in data analysis for product launch

Assist in development of marketing materials
around new products/changes

Assist with training activities for product


Bachelor’s Degree
and/or equivalent work experience required

1 year experience
working with (or within) product management teams

2 years experience in
data analysis, development, reporting, or business intelligence

Preferred Experience in one or more of the
following areas:


(Scaled Agile Framework)
data technologies
with data science, machine learning, or BI tools
