THE WEEK—a multi-platform publishing brand, is seeking a highly creative and self-motivated Integrated Marketing Manager to collaborate with the sales and marketing teams on fully integrated marketing programs. The company is in a growth phase and this role will be an integral part of the marketing department.

With an eye on client goals and objectives, you will conceive and develop creative marketing solutions that leverage the full portfolio of print, digital, mobile, social media, and experiential. 

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Generate “big ideas,” targeted concepts and smart, integrated programs by collaborating and brainstorming with sales, marketing, creative services, editorial, digital, research and outside vendors; then translating ideas into concise, persuasive written sales materials
  • Develop and write compelling, strategic proposals for a broad array of advertisers that effectively communicate program concepts, benefits and requirements
  • Create smart added-value programs that provide advertisers with impact, engagement, and awareness to meet KPIs - programs may include custom print, online, event and/or research components
  • Manage the fulfillment and execution of proposed/sold concepts (working with internal and external counterparts), including digital campaigns, in-book custom content, and promotional recaps – while working closely with sales team to clearly communicate and manage client expectations throughout the process
  • Participating in – and creatively contributing to – client and agency meetings, sales calls, and internal brainstorm sessions to articulate creative concepts
  • Create and manage detailed timelines, budgets, and ensure legal compliance
  • Build relationships with third-party organizations and vendors to enhance marketing programs
  • Able to balance workload and meet short deadlines

    Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2-3 years of publishing and/or website marketing-related work (integration a plus!)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – must be comfortable liaising between marketing, sales and edit, as well as with external advertising clients, partners and vendors
  • High level of organization. The right candidate should be able to seamlessly manage a high volume of ongoing projects of varying sizes  
  • Ability to operate independently and as part of a larger team
  • A creative eye is a plus! No specific design skills are necessary, but overall design knowledge is helpful for this role
