• Information liaison between managers, producers and post-production of new workflows.
• Assist Editors, Producers & Managers with the creation of content file based links.
• Responsible for maintaining Stratus\\Edius XS Workspace & ISILON storage.
• Responsible for Transcoding, Archiving, Restoring & Purging media in Stratus.
• Manage P2, SD cards, hard drives & AJ-PX270.
• Manage file workflows, ingest, metadata organization, and hardware issues.
• Ensure all ingested content has been correctly and accurately processed, this will include checking the technical and visual quality of the ingested asset, accurate entry of metadata and tracking of material IDs.
• Advising managers and engineers of system irregularities and trouble-shooting irregularities.
• Telestream Vantage transcoding monitoring & trouble-shooting.
• Stay current with all file-based technology including camera codecs, wrappers, and encoding
workflows.
• Collaborate with NEWS, Entertainment, Sports & Scripted Media Managers and multiple
ingest personnel to ensure proper workflows are followed and fulfill daily requests.


• Bachelor degree: Communications, Television Production or related preferred.
• Minimum 3 years Media Management experience.
• Management and organizational skills with attention to priority and detail.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology.
• Studio and Remote production experience including facilities, resource scheduling & logistics.
• Ability to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Team player committed to working in a quality environment.
• Strong computer skills including experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
5-7 years of production experience in a live television environment including news, talk,
entertainment and sports programming.

• Strong operational knowledge of HD video, file based workflows, ingest, QC and archiving of tape and file based programs.
• Strong knowledge of electronic program delivery of program material, and related operational
concerns.

• Experience with FTP client Aspera.
