USCJ is looking to hire its first-ever in-house graphic designer. Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing and Communications and working with all staff across the organization, the graphic designer will be responsible for the organization’s print and digital graphic design needs. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Develop and create original work from conception to layout to printer-ready art (where appropriate) including: brochures, posters, postcards, flyers, social media graphics, newsletters, infographics, ads, signage and other print and digital materials 
• Work with external vendors to secure quotes and ensure that projects move smoothly through production process 
• Maintain and adhere to USCJ and sub-brand branding guidelines in all designs 
• Develop charts and graphs to include in presentations 
• Assist staff in ensuring all outward-facing communications are on-brand, professional and high-quality 
• Manage and maintain brand guide, templates, logos, photobanks and other elements of marketing toolkit 
• Maintain USCJ and USY websites, addressing technical issues with developers, ensuring content is up to date and posting new content to blogs 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 
This is a full-time position exempt from overtime. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5pm. 
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts or related field 
• Minimum two years’ in graphic design, preferably at an agency or organization 
• Demonstrated mastery of Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) 
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong project management skills 
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across organization with wide variety of people 
• Familiarity with Judaism a plus 
• Familiarity with content management systems and social media a plus 
Work Authorization 
Employees hired to work in the United States USCJ offices must have USA authorization
