  • Manage USTOA social media channels to consumers and Members: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, USTOA Blog
  • Oversee, create and execute the social marketing strategies and content calendar
  • Develop growth strategies to strategically build a larger digital audience
  • Collaborate with public relations company
  • Prepare quarterly online marketing summaries and plans


  • Assist EVP with special projects and initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • website updates
  • email communications
  • administrative tasks


  • Attend local travel industry events
  • Travel to the USTOA Annual Conference & Marketplace

Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience managing social channels
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree preferred
  • Interest and knowledge in the travel and tourism sector
  • Solid writing, communication and verbal skills
  • Proficiency with social media management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Constant Contact
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
  • Working knowledge in HTML coding
  • Strong English communication skills, verbal and written (second language – optional)
  • Must be detailed oriented with excellent organization skills
  • Ability to professionally interact with staff and Members
  • Ability to work in small office environment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
