GOLF Channel is looking for a Social Media Content Producer with a love of golf to develop and deliver original video content for social media and digital distribution. This person must be a multi-tool player who can ideate, write, produce, shoot and edit content that works across digital/social platforms. From on-site custom content at golf tournaments and events to in-house production using pre-existing linear material, this person will have the skills to be self-sufficient in the content creation process. It's incumbent upon this individual to have or develop an understanding of GOLF Channel goals and operations in order to represent our brand responsibly and accurately. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Social Media and working closely with Social and Digital Videos teams, the role will be responsible for striving to set the bar for unique content creation.
<u>Responsibilities</u>
<li> Ideate, write, produce, shoot and edit video content for social and digital distribution
<li> Edit projects including lifts and cut downs of longer form content into shorter-form content optimized for social media
<li> Provide on-location and in-studio content productions services
<li> Gather video, graphic and audio resources for projects from a variety of sources including but not limited to Avid and Music Frequency library
<li> Develop projects with the VP, Digital Content and Sr. Manager, Social Media, and consult throughout production process
<li> Work closely with Sales Partnerships team to create high-quality content that supports the client’s goals
<li> Work in conjunction with in-house Creative Team to align on branding and graphics
<li> May be responsible for other content production duties, as assigned.
<li> Multi-task effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment to deliver high quality projects


Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree in digital media, broadcasting, TV/film or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in shooting, editing, production, post-production
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects
  • Must be proficient in camera operation and audio production
  • Experience with Media Asset Management Systems such as Avid a plus
  • Knowledge of social media platform specifications
