Position Summary: The Account Manager (AM) at ShermansTravel will work alongside three Account Managers, reporting to the Director of Client Experience and Products. The AM will manage a roster of assigned accounts, both travel and non-endemic, in partnership with the Sales Team. This person is responsible for maintaining client relationships, overseeing campaign cycles from pre-launch to wrap-up, and identifying opportunities for incremental revenue and new business. Plus, this individual will become an in-house travel deals expert.

Accountabilities:

  • Directly manage up to 30+ marketing / advertising accounts
  • Provide tailored product recommendations to Sales Directors and new clients
  • Prepare mockups for client approval; includes copywriting and basic photo editing
  • Oversee click budget pacing month-to-month, ensuring revenue goals are met while simultaneously optimizing campaign performance
  • Provide Sales Directors and clients with comprehensive campaign wrap-up reports
  • Assist with newsletter production, from conception to QA-ing to delivery
  • Provide syndication partners with hand-picked deals that both suit the needs of the publisher’s audience and push ShermansTravel monthly click budget goals
  • Help maintain media schedules for the Account Management and Sales teams
  • Assist with editorial and social media efforts as needed
  • Identify potential new sales leads by monitoring competitor newsletters and websites
  • Other miscellaneous tasks, supporting both the Account Management Team and ShermansTravel as a whole

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned client relationships and campaigns; continuously identify opportunities for incremental and new business
  • Produce, test, and deliver newsletters that reach up to 2.7 million national subscribers
  • Fulfill contracts for all assigned clients by delivering media campaigns in a timely manner
  • Become a in-house travel deals expert
