The Learning Sciences Research group focuses on the why, what, and how of learning in school and out-of-school, partnering with educators to study and design new learning approaches, resources, and policies.

  • Partner with leading academic researchers and research and media organizations to co-create, share, and disseminate research content.

  • Help maintain the teams’ web apps and tools, regularly adding curated content to make these assets more comprehensive and usable for educators, researchers, and technology developers.

  • Analyze data from Google Analytics and other sources of web metrics to monitor progress in meeting research communications goals.

  • Assist Research in Action and Learning Sciences Research team members with other projects as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Learning Sciences, Communication or a related field required; Master’s or equivalent experience, preferred.

  • Experience with digital communications campaigns, Google Analytics, social media platforms, and web production (Wordpress) preferred.

We also seek candidates with:

  • A demonstrated commitment to improving education for students who have historically been underserved.

  • Experience collaborating and communicating with cross-functional team members to ensure information is shared, projects are completed on time, and goals are reached.

  • Stellar organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions.
