NBC News Digital is looking for a Senior Producer to join Stay Tuned, a first-of-its-kind digital news brand. We’re on Snapchat, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram… basically everywhere.
This is who we need to help lead our team: a visionary who’s dying to create the future of news. You’re a forward thinker who’s working in digital, but also has a strong understanding of traditional production. You know how to spot a great story, make quick editorial decisions, and produce shows GenZ wants to watch. You need to have management experience to work with our energetic, creative and passionate team. You’ll be managing a team of producers, and will work closely to keep the day-to-day production running smoothly. Oh – and be fun. Because we’re fun!

Job Duties
  • Collaborate with EP to develop new content for various platforms
  • Help choose stories for daily show rundowns
  • Copyedit scripts and oversee video edits
  • Make quick decisions in breaking news situations, and lead the team to deliver
  • Work with other managers to organize shoots, edits and other production needs
  • Guide producers and APs with their writing, and help build their storytelling skills
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, with tight deadline
  • Delegate and assign projects and assignments
  • Keep up with stories and trends impacting GenZ


  • Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of production experience in digital and/or TV news (cable or broadcast)
  • Previous experience managing a production team
