Due to the show’s 3-hour length this requires a variety of bookings not limited to one topic or one sort of guest. This show strives for compelling and qualified guests who are experienced in legal, foreign, and political realms, dependent on the top stories of the day. As the Booker, you are able to work swiftly under pressure, especially during breaking news coverage. Show schedules are privy to change with little to no notice, so applicant must be comfortable working under tight deadlines. As the Booker, you have in depth knowledge of Capitol Hill, and understand the implications of lawmakers’ decisions. You are persistent in pitching guests who can shed new and profound insights, as well as creating and cultivating ongoing relationships. You are well-read in all the major newspapers, podcasts, political blogs, and have at least an intermediate understanding of how government operates.
