Job Purpose:
NBCUniversal Entertainment First Run Syndication is seeking a Music and Clips Clearance Assistant to work with all day to day operations as outlined below for “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” This is a Run of Show position.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining music library
  • Report up to the Clip Clearance Supervisor and assist as needed
  • Identify music for use in show packages and ancillary programs
  • Review and process clearance needs, including licensing sync and master licenses and cue sheet administration
  • Work closely with Post Production department to ensure completion and accuracy of cue sheets.
  • Provide music for all programs within allocated budget
  • Responsible for researching songs and composers on the internet, to aid in song usage evaluation


  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience with music clearances and/or administration
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Demonstrated knowledge of internet research techniques
    • Demonstrated ability preparing music cue sheets

    • Must have work authorization to work in the United States
