NBC Bay Area is looking for a Photographer / Multi-Media Journalist to join the team. Responsibilities will include:
  • Work overnight to gather information, shoot, write and edit newsworthy events including general news, sports and feature stories relevant to the Bay Area
  • Report, write and produce content for all platforms
  • Shoot live shots, packages and edit pieces for other reporters as needed
  • Develop and maintain a network of news sources providing access to exclusive local News


  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Photographer / Multi-Media Journalist
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a top 20 market television station as a Reporter/Photographer
    • BA or equivalent in Journalism, Broadcast, Communications and/or related field


    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Willing to work a flexible schedule
    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License

    • Demonstrated skills as Reporter, Photographer and Editor
    • Must be a team player and work effectively in a face paced environment
    • Working knowledge of non-linear editing
    • Working knowledge of Panasonic P2
