Job Purpose:
The Press Coordinator will assist several Publicity staff members in their day-to-day activities managing the show publicity and public relations of NBC Entertainment.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Assist publicists with coordinating various media requests to support the network television shows and specials
  • Prepare internal clip packages of our shows press coverage
  • Distribute press releases and other press correspondence; update contacts on press release site
  • Answer phone and perform regular administrative duties
  • Maintain distribution lists and contacts for publicity staff
  • Maintain the calendars and manage the schedules of publicity staff
  • Work and facilitate press events including semi-annual press tours, award shows, specials and events
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with talent, producers, public relations agencies and representatives, agents, managers, production staff, media and programming executives in order to ensure maximum positive coverage for NBC Entertainment programming
  • Maintain show sheets including update talent information along with their representatives
  • Arrange talent travel
  • Send out daily ratings grids
  • Read scripts from shows assigned to your managers and write storylines for them
  • Clip magazines received from newsstand daily

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree
    • Minimum 1 year relevant work experience
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

    • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
    • Must have work authorization to work in the United States
