The DTC Creative Director will help develop and manage the creative expression of NBCU’s streaming video service as it pertains to brand marketing, original IP, and our rich library of existing content. The Creative Director will oversee internal makers and external vendors tasked with developing and executing creative marketing ideas and campaigns.
Specific responsibilities include:
-DTC Brand Launch: work with external partners and internal stakeholders on launch campaign creative asset ideation and execution
-Ongoing DTC brand campaigns: help maintain a consistent voice and tone across all platforms and consumer touchpoints for our DTC brand initiatives.
-Plan and execute multiplatform campaigns for the launch of DTC original series, including asset capture/shoots
-Ideate and execute stunts around DTC library programming
-Develop creative ideas to help position and market DTC content around cultural milestones and events
-Help catalog, curate and create marketing content around library assets
-Work with Sales/Trade/Affiliate marketing partners on creative needs/assets
-Partner with Ad Sales / Branded content on custom client marketing ideas
-Partner cross-functionally with Performance Marketing and Social Marketing teams on initiatives to create cultural impact, and drive customer acquisition and retention
-Help ensure seamless execution and delivery of creative assets to relevant internal partners and platforms
-Closely coordinate with DTC content team on marketing priorities and create assets/materials to market that content, with constant optimization
-Help develop and maintain brand tone/voice styleguide and toolkit
-Design and creation of assets for DTC membership / loyalty initiatives
-Entertainment, Digital Media and/or direct-to-consumer marketing/branding experience preferred
-At least 6-8 years of relevant experience
-Ability to work in a fast paced and entrepreneurial culture
-Experience managing teams
-Excellent presentation skills
-Comfortable reviewing and analyzing campaign performance data & optimizing creative accordingly
-The Creative Director role reports to the SVP, Head of Creative
