E! News is looking for a self-motivated team player to join the digital team in spearheading weekend coverage by creating agenda-setting, original cross-platform content.

The Weekend Editor, E! News & Online will work predominantly on their own to set daily budgets for content, which they will execute by writing and self-publishing stories to the site. They will help guide our news priorities across franchises to curate content that drives the pop culture conversation forward. On weekdays, they will be responsible for writing and self-publishing news stories, viral pieces and features in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom.

The ideal candidate will have experience navigating breaking news scenarios, and has a keen understanding of pop culture to properly engage and grow the E! News audience.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a deadline writing environment, ideally in entertainment news
- Proficient in social media and SEO and understanding of how the two influence one another

- Hard-working, detail-oriented and able to juggle several tasks at once
