The Administrator, Digital Operations is responsible for running the day-to-day business for the Digital Audiobooks program. This individual will work in partnership with U/X, IT, Order Fulfillment, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Service and 3rd Party Vendors to maintain a continual focus on quality customer experience and successful engagement with the Barnes and Noble brand. They will assist the Manager in running analytics and measuring program KPIs.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage Digital Audiobooks, ensuring the platform is operational, on-budget, and customer-centric
  • Oversee the timely ingestion of metadata and files, troubleshooting and triaging errors
  • Provide internal partners with data and insights that will help drive sales and customer awareness
  • Monitor key performance metrics
  • Create competitive benchmarking within retail and other industries
  • Develop reports and analytics that identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Help drive process improvements and toolset enhancements for Digital Audiobooks
  • Collaborate on new digital project ideas, with a focus on top and bottom line growth


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years experience in eCommerce & Digital Operations and/or Publishing; Media Sales or Digital Media experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high quality output simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated expertise working with cross-functional teams
