The Coordinator is responsible for covering all administrative duties for the Senior Vice President of Communications, USA/SYFY and Universal Content Productions (UCP), as well as the Vice President of Talent Relations, USA/SYFY & UCP. In addition, the Coordinator will be provide support to the West Coast Communications team.

Job Duties
  • Cover the desk for the Senior Vice President of Communications (phones, calendar/scheduling, preparing reports, booking travel, etc.) and the Vice President of Talent Relations.
  • Function as administrative liaison to departmental staff, other departments, external vendors and consultants
  • Answer telephones, screen calls, route callers, take messages, respond to internal and external inquiries, and provide routine information within scope of authority
  • Research and coordinate daily press clips for afternoon clip report for Universal Cable Productions
  • Work with the USA/SYFY East and West Coast coordinator to research and prepare daily press clips for the AM clip reports
  • Prepare internal and external distributions and correspondence for USA/SYFY & Universal Content Productions Communications
  • Gather and prepare the weekly communications reports
  • Reconcile purchasing cards, executive travel, and expense reports

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications
  • Minimum 1 year public relations experience, including internships
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
