The HR Technology Program Manager
has primary responsibility for defining, planning, tracking and managing HR technology programs, identifying key resources and providing the direction they require in order to meet program and business objectives. The HR Technology Program Manager has expertise in several areas of HR Technology while having deep understanding of HR processes and practices, involving business acquisitions, designing system enhancements and supporting all Human Capital Management (HCM) systems including: HR, Benefits, compliance, employee/manager self-service, recruiting, onboarding, Compensation, timekeeping, payroll, and Learning Management. The Program Manager utilizes necessary resources and skills to produce deliverables within agreed cost, timescale, and quality parameters. This role will be responsible for managing process change, system governance, developing program roadmaps, implementing stakeholder engagement plans, and leading program oversight. The HR Technology Program Manager will also be responsible for managing project scope, budget, timeline, resources, risks, and deliverables. This role will have responsibility for overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The HR Technology Program Manager will work directly with other People Solutions and Business Services departments, and will frequently partner with IT and other divisions. Key Responsibilities: PlanningEstablish and maintain relationships with key partner groups to understand their business needs, ensure alignment on objectives, and ensure ongoing buy-in across all project activities.Translate business objectives into projects with clearly defined scope, timing, deliverables, resources, and key measures of success.Organizes the work into manageable work packages or phases and determines an effective approach to completing the work.Develops estimates for effort, budget and schedule.Develops a plan that documents clear priorities among project activities.Communicates a clear vision of the program’s objectives and motivates the project team to achieve them. Program Monitoring and ControlEffectively coordinates the activities of the team to meet project milestones.Analyzes the actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives.Provides tracking and reporting of progress to plan regarding schedule.Actively manages budget tracking and forecasting.Proactively manages change to baselined scope, schedule and cost variables, communicating impacts and facilitating decisions.Resolves issues that impact the project in a timely, effective manner.Analyzes risks, establishes contingency plans, and identifies trigger events and responsibility for initiating mitigating action. Project Initiation, Execution, Transition and EvaluationFormulate and continually re-assess the appropriate project management approach and project management skill set / resourcing mix across internal and external partners to ensure all project tasks are successfully completed.Create project plans, including timelines and milestones.Effectively set and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.Define project success criteria and communicate to team throughout project life cycle.Manage and coordinate HR-related project activity resulting from business unit acquisitions.Manage ongoing project plans, budgets, resources, and vendors.Facilitate meetings and drive project issues through to resolution.Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.Proactively manage and communicate ongoing changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.Support the ongoing development of best practices and tools for HR Technology project execution and management.Conduct project post mortems and create recommendations in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.Ensure comprehensive and seamless project post-implementation transition to HRTS Operations and Support sub-teams and CIS as appropriate. Relationship Management and Change ManagementManages vendor relations and procurements related to the project requirements.Manages relationships with project stakeholders, both within People Solutions and technology teams.Effectively communicates relevant project information to stakeholders and teams.Identify all stakeholders, both direct and indirect, and determine level of involvement needed for project success.Identify change management needs across the organization based on project impact and be able to devise plan for communication, strategy and training as needed

Qualifications:Required QualificationsBS/BA degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education5 years of experience delivering programs and projects in a Human Resources environmentIntermediate to advanced skills within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project)Experience developing and executing project level change management plansAbility to manage multiple critical priorities/projects with strong organizational skills including demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with different stakeholder sets; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environmentWorking experience managing HR technology projects and working with technology project management methodologies. (e.g. waterfall, agile, iterative)Experience working on end to end systems development lifecycle for medium/large complex HR Technology implementationsWorking experience of and competency in project management processes, including planning tasks and allocating resources, risk management, issues management, time management, change management and financial managementStrong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation and critical thinking skillsAbility to build relationships and interact with senior managementAbility to make decisions considering long-term implicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize resources and knowledge in identifying high quality solutions and achieving expected resultsCapable of anticipating and mitigating risks to the success of the programs / projectsAbility to be flexible and respond to varied demands Preferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of Human Resources systems, processes, trends, and best practicesAdvanced degree in industry related subject is a plusPMP certification or equivalent is a plusAgile Certified Professional (ACP) is a plus
