The StudioPost team for NBCUniversal’s Operations and Technology group is seeking an Operations Manager. This role will manage the day-to-day operation. This includes supporting clients, Project Managers, department managers and department staff. Operations coverage for this position will be Tuesdays through Saturdays.As Operations Manager, you will work closely with in-house talent, clients, liaising with other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization. You will ensure sessions are running smoothly, on-time, and troubleshooting when needed.Provide day of support to in-house talent, clients, and Project ManagersOversee sessions to ensure they are running on timeCollaborate with Planning, Project Managers and Operations when projects need redirectionWork with Managers and Project Manager to ensure projects are on trackAssist in overseeing other areas such as scanning and dailies to ensure schedules are being followed and deliveries are being metManage the day shift QC technicians ensuring their performance meets our high thresholdsCollaborate with Operations and Engineering to establish new workflows and ensure they are being followedHelp to drive accountability by identifying issues that could adversely affect projects, creative quality, delivery dates, or budgets

• 5+ years of experience in hands-on management roles in post-production and/or operations
• 3-5 years in a customer facing role
• 5+ years of experience in broadcast post-production
• Must be available to work Tuesday thru Saturday
• Mastering experience preferred
• Well versed in all aspects of post-production workflows, including ingests, color, editing, quality control
• Strong knowledge of all content formats & file codecs
• Ability to multi-task and make effective decisions in a high-pressure deadline driven environment
• Must be an effective trouble shooter, communicator, and problem solver
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organization and follow through skills
