As a Senior Manager Strategic Analytics, you will be a pivotal member of Infrastructure Admin team, working closely with organizational and service tower needs.Aligns on prioritization with service leaders and delivers value-added, material, and valid insights as well as tools to deliver on Enterprise Technology strategic imperatives including strategy health, optimized delivery, operational efficiency, and people experience. Measures and assesses the effectiveness of Enterprise Technology initiatives and processes using data analysis, modeling, and optimization techniques. Assesses and optimizes performance to identify and recommend opportunities and influence change.This role provides counsel & advise to senior leadership in Enterprise Technology. Accordingly, it spans components of 3 “typical” analytical functions: Data Analysis, Business Research & Analysis, and Strategic Analysis. The successful leader will have exceptional hands-on experience working with, visualizing & interpreting data; modeling; and financial and strategic analysis; summarizing & presenting to leadership, and working with peers & boundary partners in the Technology ecosystem to continually refine & improve processes and knowledge. Technology We Use:SAS, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerAppsPrimary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Partners and builds relationships with Enterprise Technology stakeholders. Develops understanding of key needs and has the ability to gain acceptance. Develops and delivers clear communications through appropriate mediums to key stakeholders on progress. Clearly defines scope and iterates as needed in partnership with stakeholders. Monitors and manages stakeholder expectations.Identifies and translates analytical results into meaningful and actionable insights and recommendations to influence change. Develops effective presentations and documents that clearly communicate results that align with Enterprise Technology issues and challenges. Communicates complex information in a clear and concise way.Drives project milestones to completion. Builds partnerships and leads the activities which operationalize key findings.Designs and implements data collection, cleansing, and validation. Performs data analysis.Works with groups to maintain, review and/or analyze data files, tables and reports for inconsistencies, troubleshoots data integrity issues and develops cleanup strategy if needed.Works with partners in compiling or importing data from various databases into specialized software, databases or tools in order to generate reports to support various departmentsProvides and conducts trend analysis to support business operations; may include budget modeling.Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical procedure or cross-functional methods.Conducts business impact analyses and validation studies and market research through all stages: concept formulation, definition of metrics, determination of appropriate statistical methodology, research evaluation, and final research report.Supports the strategic planning and strategy management processes by researching prospective trends, business partners, emerging technologies, and applications.Supports Enterprise Technology Strategy in identifying and collecting data required for due diligence on long range plans, potential new products and services as an addition to our portfolio.Produces detailed analytical models to support financial, technical, scenario decisions. Qualifications:Required Experience (minimum):
- BS/BA in quantitative field strongly desired (statistics, QM, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, etc.).
- Advanced degree in Business, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other analysis related fields preferred
- 3 or more years of experience in a leadership role preferred
- 7 or more years of experience working in an Enterprise IT organization that operates at scale, with a focus on Strategy analytics, operational metrics, financial analysis
- Extensive teamwork, communication, presentation, and time management skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
- Implementing cross-functional analytical projects and solutions, including defining scope, timelines and milestones.
- Certification in CAP (Certified Analytics Professional) and/or relevant industry certifications (SAS Foundation Certifications, Tableau, etc).
- 5+ years using industry standard tools for: modeling and analysis, data visualization, data querying and extraction. Experience with Microsoft Power platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, etc) is a plus.
