As a Senior Product Analytics Manager, you will be a pivotal member of the products data analytics organization supporting business customers by interpreting problems/needs and providing solutions using applied analytical methods to make more effective decisions, build more productive features, reports, products and services.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Key Focus for Position -
  • Form an accurate and clear understanding of product roadmaps, key features, and desired outcomes
  • Identify, document, and gain alignment on product success metrics to measure impacts, adoption, progress against pre-set targets, financial performance, competitive products
  • Determine necessary data collection to ensure measurement of metrics; include in product team’s normal cycle of build
  • Coordinate with Data & Analytics team to ensure data availability/metric creation
  • Build product reports and ad hoc analyses to measure success
  • Challenge partners to understand the “Why” of requests and indicatives
  • Articulate and present product results to appropriate parties
  • Pro-actively partner and make recommendations for improved product performance 
  • Consult stakeholders on formulating test strategies, individual test designs, measurement and analysis of A/B and Multivariate testing by applying proper testing principles and standards.

Job Responsibilities - 
Gathers Customer Requirements to provide reporting/analytics
  • Identifying business and product needs by defining, analyzing and documenting requirements
  • Prioritizes projects with customers, pro-actively initiates discussion with business partners to uncover potential problems
  • Performs in-depth investigations of data problems employing statistical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to collaborate with other departments
  • Evaluates and selects the appropriate technical solution
  • Confidently extracts and queries large amounts of data with appropriate programming languages
  • Demonstrates attention to quality of data and programming code
  • Develop reporting that accurately expresses data trends or anomalies
  • Presents complex results in a way easily understandable by the rest of the company
  • Excellent oral and written communicator who interacts and advises other teams in a timely manner
  • Customer focus, quality-oriented behavior

Build Technical Solutions and Data sources
  • Enable non-technical users the ability to produce data independently through development programming, standard report development and prompt enabled solutions
  • Document technical solutions and end user training guides
  • Build analytical summary solutions that provide information that is complex in a normalized manner
  • Work in collaboration with IT and developers to test, develop and validate data
  • Become SME on data sources and availability
  • Leverage best practices and industry guidelines
  • Supports the Presentation of Insights and Recommendations
  • Contributes to the development of comprehensive, relevant, and engaging recommendation-based presentations
  • Supports the presentation of findings and recommendations to internal customers to support the development and communication of business strategies and plans
    Provides regular reporting of key business trend information by compiling and analyzing data.
Qualifications:Required Experience (minimum): 
  • B.S./B.A. degree required.  Degree in Math/Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Business/Finance preferable.  Advanced degree (M.S., MBA) a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics
  • Advanced Web Analytics background
  • 6+ years of business analytical experience
  • Advance database & query experience
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge partners on established ways of thinking and be comfortable asking why
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal/external customers
  • Strong work standards/ethics
  • Work well under pressure with time constraints
What We Look For (preferred): 
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS, SQL, SAS, Python, Adobe Analytics, SAP Business Objects, Oracle, and Hyperion
  • Experience building, running and analyzing tests with Optimizely and/or Adobe Target
  • Prior experience with web activity analysis preferred
  • Automotive/industry experience preferred
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and develop and execute action plans is preferred
