<u>Overview:</u> This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring GOLF Channel’s Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, drive tune-in, support Marketing efforts and establish the network as the voice of golf on social. Must be a team player with excellent golf knowledge.

<u>Job Responsibilities:</u>
<li> Create engaging social media posts for GOLF Channel’s social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and any new/emerging platforms)

<li> Responsible for engaging audiences during live programming, and tournaments; and increasing tune in to GOLF Channel linear/digital programming
<li> Responsible for maintaining social presence on Golf Channel sub-brand social pages
<li> Assist with social media metrics reporting
<li> Regularly monitor the social conversation in regard to Golf Channel, its shows, network talent and the game of golf
<li> Demonstrate an understanding of GOLF Channel goals and operations in order to represent our brand responsibly and accurately
<li> Will be required to work an untraditional schedule (nights, weekends) to support news and live tournament coverage; some travel on-site to events will be required

  • Strong attention to detail and grammar skills are an absolute most
  • Knowledge of golf – the game, tours, players, and general rhetoric
  • Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Hootsuite, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • College degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field, or relevant work experience
