Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, the Technology Communication and Initiatives Manager facilitates and oversees communication and key initiatives for Golf Channel’s global product and technology organization.


Facilitate all product and technology communication for GolfNow B2C, GolfNow B2B, Emerging Business, International and Golf Channel business units

Develop and manage initiatives for the technology group such as presentations, offsites, hackathons, 20% projects

Responsible for internal and external communications to customers on the behalf of product and technology

Organize, edit, proofread all formal presentations and documentation

Work with product and technology leaders to develop and distribute internal release notes and roadmaps to department heads in sales, product, marketing, support.

Work with sales and public relations to identify and submit content that would be beneficial to specified audiences

Help with the consolidation, editing and distribution of release documentation for end customers and users.

Facilitate and edit weekly product and tech updates for each business unit

Work within corporate communication channels (Chatter, Email, Blogs) to provide information in a concise and timely manner

Document and distribute weekly prioritization meeting notes

Other duties as assigned

Confident communicator and presenter with an attention toward details
Excellent organizational and time management
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Experience with digital layout and design with tools such as Adobe
Strong understanding of executing communications through multiple media channels (chat, social feeds, traditional documents, video, podcasts)
Experience in delivering customer facing product and project communications across diverse groups
Passion for technology and a basic understanding of software development lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile)
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines for deliveries
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar
