ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Telemundo 52 has a great opportunity to join our Sales team as an Integrated Sales Marketing Specialist, responsible for supporting the station’s Sales team.

Role Purpose:
Responsible for leading the development and execution of sales marketing strategies for cutting edge multiplatform marketing solutions that drive advertising revenue for KVEA, Telemundo 52 Los Angeles.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop customized marketing Materials for new sales opportunities in partnership with sales and engage in client/agency ascertainment meetings.
  • Find solution-based ways to grow advertising revenue by collaborating with numerous internal constituents and external parties to develop appealing and profitable proposals for advertising.
  • Function as a liaison between sales staff and all relevant departments (i.e marketing, news, legal, and production) to ensure customer satisfaction from inception to execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate the production of sales marketing projects. This may include light writing, developing PowerPoint presentations, organizing of broadcast production calendars, proofreading, and collateral distribution to internal station support teams.
  • Maintain in constant communication with stakeholders as to project status and deadlines; keep in continual interaction with sales, marketing and other departments to accomplish team goals.
  • Event Marketing: Work closely with sales management, internal departments as well as external vendors to manage client needs and the execution of station-sponsored events.
  • Position may require cross-over work and collaboration with KNBC sister station



  • Qualifications/Requirements
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Minimum 3 years marketing or agency experience
  • Minimum 3 years working in the television, radio or entertainment space
  • Exemplary excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation and internal negotiation skills
