As the Social Channel
Manager, you will lead the creation, execution, and measurement of our B2B
channel social, community, and creator strategy. You will create plans that
result in measurable growth and increased engagement with our brand across existing
channels, in addition to identifying new opportunities to engage with emerging
or untapped channels.  You will be
responsible for planning, executing, and measuring initiatives coordinated
across brand, products and our auction locations.  This will include managing social channel
standalone media as well as media that is part of larger integrated marketing campaigns.
 Support may be at the corporate level
for Brand, Product and Industry Events or at the auction level. At the
corporate level, you will be developing and executing the social media channel
strategy, and at the auction level you will be coordinating with the
stakeholders and providing them with best practices, content and images.

Successful candidates will
have a passion for social media, and channel marketing, and a proven track
record of working across teams to influence with and without authority managing
a variety of projects with competing priorities and activating in a cohesive
way through our social channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the social channel strategy and implementation
    across all of Manheim
  • Oversee social media accounts’ brand presence and design
  • Execute a social media plan that communicates the brand and drives
    results for our strategic initiatives growing our follower base, increasing
    engagement and driving brand awareness and equity
  • Work collaboratively across
    marketing, product, content, sales and client experience business owners to
    develop powerful and memorable stories and interactive experiences that
    bring our vision to life in our social channels, blogs and other digital
    channel integrations
  • Support product launches,
    strategic initiatives and industry events
  • Source and create original images,
    videos and other assets to produce engaging content and campaigns
  • Curate, write, and edit content to optimize for social channels,
    including blogs and social influencer marketing
  • Collaborate with internal and external agencies to provide
    direction and assist with content creation and website updates
  • Develop and implement a social
    channel playbook to implement a consistent voice and tone, and to inform how
    we attract, engage, and retain social followers to drive ongoing traffic,
    and support strategic initiatives
  • Build and implement a social, community,
    and creator calendar, for visibility and collaboration across the
  • Assist auction locations with their social
    media channels by sharing best practices, troubleshooting, and encouraging
    content creation
  • Manage social media paid ad
  • Own, manage, and track the social
    budget, including the annual budget proposal and strategies for driving
    positive ROI growth
  • Test messages and experiences to
    optimize for traffic and channel growth
  • Manage individual campaigns to
    optimize investment
  • Oversee and manage community
    engagement and comments across our digital content and social media
  • Communicate with followers, answer
    questions, interact and execute direct engagement
  • Suggest and implement new
    opportunities to develop brand awareness, promotions and best practices
  • Develop, track, measure, and
    report KPIs that measure social growth, traffic, leads, brand perception,
    and sentiment
  • Partner with our Marketing
    Analytics team to establish key metrics and dashboards to track
  • Report on monthly and quarterly
    social media performance and drive key optimizations based on analytical

social listening tools to track engagement and growth 
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
    in social media, digital and/or content marketing.
  • Track record of delivering results
    through social channels
  • A self-starter with the ability to
    thrive with change and resolve ambiguity with creative problem solving.
  • Strong content development and
    writing skills across a variety of mediums. Samples required.
  • Client centric understanding of
    online content consumption & engagement
  • Ability and motivation to create,
    edit and produce effective creative content (text, image, video and blogs)
  • Proficiency in social content
    management platforms, advertising, and analytics tools like Sprinklr,
    Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising, etc.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems; WordPress and basic
    HTML knowledge a plus
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on
    experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
    YouTube, Linkedin etc.) and how each can be deployed in different
  • Excellent written and verbal
    communications skills.
  • Track record of prioritizing work
    streams and programs effectively with competing priorities.
  • Very strong attention to detail
    and project management skills.
  • Must be a collaborative team player.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing,
    Communication or related field, MBA a plus.
