Rate: $70,000-$85,000; DOE

Job Description:
Our technology client in Scottsdale is looking to bring an Associate Editor onto their team full time.

This will be onsite, 40 hours a week.

What you will be doing:
- Oversee the creation and review of print and digital content assets, including emails, ads, blog posts, website copy, brochures and other collateral
- Coordinate writing assignments with in-house and contract writers within budget parameters
- Work with department Project Manager to create schedules and enforce deadlines
- Problem solve deadline and contingency issues to keep projects on track while maintaining accuracy
- Edit and proof copy through all levels of review and approval
- Monitor and evaluate content for compliance with internal style guidelines, strategy, brand voice and tone
- Make recommendations for improving copy quality to ensure readability and message clarity
- Deliver feedback to content creators and perform rewrites where necessary

What you need to know:
- Minimum 10+ years of editorial experience in publishing, marketing, corporate communications, an agency or relevant
- Strong written and communication skills; a master of spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Solid project management, organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to efficiently juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-motivated and equipped to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Ability to learn quickly and grasp new technology and concepts
- Superior editing and writing skills, supported by an impressive portfolio of work and credible references

- Experience with a B2B software company and/or knowledge of the construction preferred
