City & State seeks a Marketing Director to lead all of its marketing and sales campaigns with a heavy emphasis on audience development and e-mail list growth.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Develop and execute detailed event marketing plans to maximize ticket sales; develop plans and programs to identify and target demographics for events across owned (social, websites, email), paid (display and adwords advertising, boosted social) and earned (PR, partnerships, trades) media platforms.

  • Lead e-mail marketing and subscriber growth efforts including creation and deployment of email CRM strategy, re-targeting, multi-channel web and paid social campaigns.

  • Develop and build strong relationships with campaign leads and third-party vendors to better bridge individualized sales efforts and campaigns to the larger narrative and goals for CSNY’s audiences. 

  • Lead B2B and B2C marketing campaign brainstorming, RFP ideation, communication, and execution working in conjunction with key internal/external stakeholders, including sales, events and editorial staff, venues, speakers and panelists. 

  • Oversee all branding, list building initiatives, online advertising and points of purchase, data collection and user experience initiatives. 

  • Identity key metrics and demographics that will drive growth and sustainability.

  • Strong analytical skills with an acumen to inform active and future marketing strategies.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create and maintain relationships with clients and third-party partners.
