PMC: Senior Audience Marketing Manager

The Senior Audience Marketing Manager will be responsible for generating and optimizing subscriptions from the following channels for Robb Report, Variety, Art in America, Art News, and Footwear News.  (Requires strategic, analytical, digital marketing knowledge, creative development and executional skills)

  • Brand Websites
  • Email
  • Newsletter placements
  • Social : Lookalike campaigns FB, Google Ad Campaigns, LinkedIn (target companies)
  • External websites: SEM, Retargeting
  • Develop a full customer journey, 360 degree marketing programs
  • Share/liaise with Rolling Stone’s Pubworx marketing team on best practices

The senior manager will be required to perform the following for all channels above:

  • Marketing plans, strategy and tactics
  • Campaign concepts, testing, execution
  • Reporting and analysis
  • Expense management

The senior manager will be a critical member of a small marketing/finance team charged with optimizing the consumer profit contribution for Robb Report, Variety, Art in America/Art News, and Footwear News.  The team works and interfaces with internal resources (creative, product, tech, research, and advertising), as well as outside partners (fulfillment providers) and suppliers.

The manager will also work closely with the digital marketing team currently generating new subscriptions for WWD and Sourcing Journal.  They will be available to share best practices, advise, and help problem solve, when needed. 

This hands on direct marketing position requires a candidate who displays:

  • Good communication skills
  • Strategic and tactical ability
  • Flexibility with change and evolving priorities
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A willingness to problem solve and ability to pick up new ideas and processes quickly
  • 5-7 years digital subscription marketing experience
  • BA required; MBA a plus
