Rolling Stone: Marketing Director

Rolling Stone is hiring a Marketing Director to develop creative and impactful marketing solutions that meet client objectives and drive multimedia revenue opportunities for the brand. This role will challenge you to ideate and develop large-scale, cross-category strategic offerings, and be part of the sales process to win, secure, retain, and grow business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to strategize, create, and write Omni-channel proposals
  • Create effective and engaging communication of those opportunities in writing and in person
  • Leverage data and insights to inform content strategy, scaling across sites and social channels.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with sales, edit, and account management teams to answer a high influx of RFPs
  • Collaborate with sales staff to create client-specific presentations
  • Operate with a superior level of client service in all client-facing communication

Ideal Qualifications

  • 5+ years marketing and advertising experience
  • Understands and has relevant experience within the music, entertainment and pop culture space
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced, high volume environment focused on both internal and external selling of ideas and concepts
  • Creative, resourceful, proactive, self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong Keynote experience required
  • Knowledge of comScore, Google Analytics, Salesforce
