Manage all FTEs for Network Studio Operations, supporting News, Sports, & Entertainment in Studios, Control Rooms, and Hair, Make-Up and WardrobeCultivate client relationships for customer successMaintain fiscal management of labor budgets for NABET, IATSE, DGA & Technical ManagersDevelop and maintain departmental operating budgetStreamline processes to increase reliabilityIncrease talent pipelineStrengthen the organization by fostering growth and culture with frontline managers and technical staffProvide on-air supportDevelop, execute and maintain disaster recovery plans for all network brands
The Director, Studio & Technical Operations position requires an individual who can efficiently maximize all operational aspects of Network News, Sports, Entertainment, and Corporate Events consistent with the overall strategic plan. The candidate must possess a variety of competencies including, meticulous follow-through, comprehensive organizational skills, acute attention to detail, client focus, superior judgment, project management, event operations and a reliable business sense.
Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience in a live television operations environment
Experience with deadline driven environment
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work as a member of a team
Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in MS Office 365 tools such as Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
