Role Purpose:
The Manager, Marketing & Creative in Universal Pictures Domestic Promotions department supports the Director, Marketing & Creative in building, developing and executing strategic partnerships between brand partners and the Motion Picture Group. The focus of this position is to assist in the development and management of domestic promotional campaigns. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Creative, Domestic Promotions.

Essential Responsibilities:Under the guidance of the Director, manage creative development and execution of co-branded advertising campaigns supporting theatrical releases; includes television, print, and digital media; in-store point-of-sale materials, packaging and premiums for domestic campaigns, as assigned. Liaise with outside creative vendors for partner-specific print and packaging creative, TV spot development, digital banners, etc.Oversee approval process internally (marketing execs, filmmakers, creative advertising, brand marketing, publicity, events, legal) and externally (brands and agencies).Serve as secondary day-to-day contact with promotional partners, advertising agencies, internal and external executivesCoordinate PR & Events - partner-sponsored special events, trade shows, press releases, etc.Manage creative asset distribution internally and externally and assist with departmental creative needsOversee screening programs and sweepstakes (rules & regulations, fulfillment, etc.)Responsible for maintaining account management grids, status reports, email communication to internal and external clientsResponsible for preparing program recaps and filmmaker presentationsConduct competitive research

Basic Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree required
•Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in strategic marketing, brand management, promotions, or consumer marketing. Entertainment experience strongly preferred.
•Experience working with filmmakers, talent and/or creatives
•Extensive experience using Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Photoshop.

•Must be able and willing to travel 25% of the time

•Creative & strategic thinker, resourceful, self-motivated and passionate about their responsibilities
•Extremely detailed, organized and can keep tasks moving on schedule and budget
•Studio experience strongly preferred
•Illustrator skills a plus
