About the Job




This
individual is responsible for product development and management for Cox
Internet Residential Broadband.  The
Manager will lead development and launch of key strategic
products/enhancements, working closely with teams from Marketing, Enterprise
Development & Operations, Engineering and other business boundary partners.
He or she will also be responsible for managing our customers’ speed
experience, proactively identifying opportunities to improve the speed and
reliability that we deliver in our speed tiers. 



 



What You Will Do: 




·      
Product Development for Cox Internet and
Related Products



o  
Lead development from ideation to
implementation of new products, enhancements and tools related to Cox Internet



o  
Develop customer and agent-facing improvements
to our speed test and speed troubleshooting tools/applications



o  
Maintain the product roadmap for Cox Elite Gamer
and lead development and implementation of new features for the product



o  
Manage requirements development and analysis
for frontline and customer impacts of network upgrades



o  
Drive the development of business cases which
define the value proposition of proposed product enhancements



o  
Plan and oversee research, user acceptance
testing and trialing of new solutions 



 



·      
Product Management



o  
Drive continual improvement in Cox’s speed
test performance on internal, customer and 3rd party speed test
platforms



o  
Leverage and lead analytics efforts to
proactively identify opportunities for improvement throughout the lifecycle and
customer speed experience.



o  
Managing Cox.com Speed Test and supporting
customer self-service and troubleshooting guidance



o  
Creating and maintaining a low latency product
strategy for Cox Internet and related products



o  
Monitor developments within the industry,
vendor community and technology trends and considers these in light of product
roadmaps.




Qualifications:

Minimum




·     Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in product
development, technology, consulting or a related business field.



·     Demonstrated expertise in managing new product
development and introduction through the entire SDLC.



·     Exceptional analytical and strategic planning
skills required. 



·     Well-honed written and verbal communication
skills.  Strong executive presence
expected.



·     Demonstrated experience with financial and
operational modelling .



·     Strong time management and prioritization skills
with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects and succeed in
a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.



 



Preferred



 



·      
BA/BS degree in business or technical field
strongly preferred.  Master’s degree
preferred.



·      
Direct experience of Cable and/or
Telecommunications Broadband industry highly desirable.
