A critical leadership role on the Cox Automotive
Pricing team within the Sales Business Office, the Sr. Manager Pricing
Management advises and implements pricing, packaging, and monetization
capabilities within a Solution Group (Manheim or Retail Solutions). This team
is responsible for maintaining pricing capabilities including list pricing
tables, reference data, pricing logic that enable the Solution Group. This team
is also responsible for collaborating with their counterparts on the Pricing
Strategy team with data, models, and guidelines for what pricing actions can be
executed given market, technical, and/or process constraints. In addition, this
leader role is proactive in building strong relationships with boundary partners
in Product, Sales, and Business Unit Leaders to align pricing management
principals with revenue and EBITA benefits.

  • Partner with leaders in Sales, Sales Ops,
    Enterprise Platforms, and IT within the target Solution Group (Manheim or
    Retail Solutions)
    to operationalize the pricing strategy developed by the
    Pricing Strategy team.
  • Requires strong knowledge of the business,
    marketplace dynamics, sales team structure, and tools / technology that
    supports price execution.
  • Partners with the Price Strategy team focused
    on the targeted Solution Group
    to guide the development of pricing
    strategies, processes, and tools to ensure the design is implementable and is
    informed by existing system limitations, restrictions, and marketplace
    realities.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to guide
    transformational initiatives within the business that require pricing
    knowledge, or technical details around pricing data, logic, or limitations of
    our price setting capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management
    capabilities to guide the Price Setting and Price Execution teams to maintain
    pricing capabilities within core systems supporting the target Solution
    Group
    .
  • Strong understanding of pricing analytics,
    techniques, and methods – when to use them and how to apply them to drive the
    organization to realize the strategies required by the business owners and the
    market.
  • Leadership Responsibilities 
    • Develop a world class team, lead an organization
      that spans across the target Solution Group’s business units
    • Provide oversight, direction, coaching,
      management, and leadership for the team
    • Mentors, motivates, and develops staff and
      serves as a resource to them to facilitate their professional development
    • Maintains peer relationships across the business
      to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and avoid duplication of effort




















Qualifications:
  • 8+ Years Experience in Pricing, Sales,
    Operations, Consulting, or related field driving product management, strategy,
    or revenue management disciplines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Data
    Science OR related discipline
  • Hands-on experience developing advanced pricing
    models, proofs of concept, business cases to support pricing strategy decision
    making & execution of that strategy
  • Experience developing pricing strategies and
    plans for new products and innovative services
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across
    functional teams and different organizational levels to deliver results
  • Must be able to effectively organize and
    prioritize work flow and work independently
  • Proven ability to work effectively within
    complex decision-making and organizational structures
  • Ability to lead parallel assignments in a
    high-quality manner while hitting deadlines
