The Inside Sales Business Development Executive is responsible for maximizing NextGear's revenue through aggressive phone campaigns each month to prospective NextGear dealers, as well as field inbound calls and web leads from prospective dealers.  The ISBDE will be responsible for achieving target level volumes in new dealer applications and activations, as well as the company’s ancillary products and services.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting NextGear Field Operations (PM)Prospecting and qualifying potential client via the phone.
  • Must be knowledgeable and educated on all products and services Nextgear Capital offers, including inventory financing, and the company’s ancillary products and services. 
  • Must have general knowledge of all Cox Automotive products and be able to make recommendations to clients based upon needs.
  • Develop an aggressive sales plan within defined/assigned markets.
  • Build prospect list, new client pipeline through effective cold calling, lead follow up, and dealer referrals.
  • Manage lead distribution, follow up, applications, and contracts within Salesforce.
  • Utilize Challenger Sale methodology to grow business in assigned territories
  • Field inbound calls & web leads from prospective dealers
  • Pre-qualify newly registered Manheim dealers.
  • Attain daily/weekly/monthly goals for Applications, Activations, and Call metrics
  • Work with dealers to complete approval/underwriting process 
  • Responsible for completing contracting process and onboarding for new clients
  • Gain dealer commitments to floor units and provide this information to market Performance Manager
  • Develop a strong relationship with NextGear Capital Performance Managers of assigned territories and provide dealer feedback to the market PM via e-mail and phone
  • Support National, Regional & Local campaigns via phone marketing to current/prospective NextGear dealers
Qualifications:Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in prospecting and qualifying potential customers
  • Ability to close business over the phone 
  • Must have a proven track record of excellent time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to work independently to produce results.
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and other database programs.
  • Strong customer service experience needed. 
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential 
  • Phone dialer/Call queue experience preferred
  • Solid Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Education and Experience:

  • College Degree Preferred – or Equivalent work experience in sales. 
  • 2+ years of successful inside sales or call center/customer service related experience preferred.
