The impact you’ll have

The Supervisor participates in all aspects of executing high profile and complex clients’ search media campaigns, including initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting.  The Supervisor is often the lead day-to-day subject matter expert and contact for her or his assigned clients, providing strategic recommendations, analysis, and reporting as well as responding to ad-hoc requests.  The Supervisor is also key resource for the Paid Search team and is expected to support the management team in training and supporting more junior team members.

 

What you’ll do

  • Manage daily execution of paid search campaigns
  • Analyze performance data and provide intelligent synthesis, interpretation and appropriate action plans based on conclusions
  • Communicate with clients on all elements of the campaign, including performance reporting, project status and client goals
  • Actively manage paid search campaigns to the clients’ weekly and monthly budget goals
  • Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in the management of online paid media
  • Develop innovative media strategies and tactics
  • Assist in development of search media plans (research, targeting, budget allocation, forecasting, and network distribution) and build effective relationships with all vendors
  • Support and assist in developing team members to optimize their performance, contribution and job satisfaction
  • Create and maintain detailed/accurate files for each client for whom you are responsible
  • Demonstrate highly organized campaign/timeline management, with strong attention to detail
  • Provide QA of campaigns prior to launch
  • Direct and appropriately delegate tasks to Analysts effectively
  • Evolve relationships with partner, vendor & sales community
  • Positively participate in team environment and promotes healthy relationships amongst team members
  • Build relationships with relevant partners in agency
  • Is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on at least one topic and provides training to other team members on the topic
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs of client/department/agency

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • You have a minimum 2 years of experience in search engine marketing (ie: experience with bid monitoring and adjustment of search media campaigns across multiple sites, defining terms and writing effective copy, highly relevant and targeted to clients' products and/or services.)
  • You have experience managing large media budgets and hitting monthly goals for spend, revenue and key performance metrics
  • You have experience with direct client relationship responsibilities includes regular reporting, collaborative strategic planning, and performance management
  • You are comfortable working with internal site visitor reporting/tracking software (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • You are an expert in Excel
  • You can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
  • You are highly analytical
  • Your verbal and written communication skills are strong
  • You are detail-oriented and organized
  • You exhibit enthusiasm, passion, creativity and commitment
