The Sales Enablement & Training Manager, Sales Operations supports the design, implementation, and ongoing facilitation of a variety of online, instructor led, and blended systems training programs that will empower sales, traffic, research, finance and marketing users across our division to work at peak performance. The goal is to drive adoption of our software tools through support, training and seeking improvements to our various systems. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and delivering training sessions.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training to individuals, small and large groups (250+ people)
  • Develop course curriculum based on Instructional Design principles:
    • Conduct needs analyses
    • Create course content
    • Pilot content and adjust as needed
  • Act as liaison with course participants, trainers, and other NBC staff to ensure continuity and success of the learning process
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to develop and maintain training contentKeep training guides updated with new enhancementsProvide communications and engagement to the field as neededOnboard new employeesSupportProvide front-line support and subject matter expertise to end users, troubleshoot technical issuesEnter issues into tracking systemEscalate issues to program delivery team when additional support is neededSupport program delivery team as needed with new projects, initiatives, releases, etc.Document common concerns and or issues of the end users; prioritize concerns to inform product developmentAnalytics
  • Track, analyze, summarize and report training metrics to the Sales Enablement & Training Director and other stakeholders
  • Analyze tickets to uncover trends, training needs, and system shortfalls

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum 3+ years’ experience developing and delivering training within an organization
    • Strong presentation skills are a must
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills (oral and written)
    • Self-motivated, innovative, able to assume responsibility, and work autonomously in a professional manner
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical and technical skills
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
    • Some travel required
    • Some "after hours" work around tent-pole events

    • Working knowledge of television and digital media technology
    • Working knowledge of the training function within an organization
    • Working knowledge of authoring tools such as: Camtasia Studio, Adobe Articulate Rise and online training tools (WebEx, Zoom, GoToTraining)
    • Familiarity with Salesforce, WideOrbit, and/or other industry tools and platforms
    • Ability to communicate and manage change
    • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, and adeptly move from one to another
    • Ability to deal with a diverse segment of stakeholders – sales, research, finance, digital
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Comfortable working closely with IT
