Cox Automotive is seeking a strategic, creative and analytical marketer as our Director of Marketing to lead the Autotrader Client Marketing team.  This role is based out of Atlanta, GA.
The Autotrader Director of Client Marketing is responsible for the leadership, development and execution of the Autotrader B2B marketing strategy.  This includes the client marketing and sales enablement strategies that deliver on the revenue goals of the business.  This role leads a team of marketers focused on Product Marketing, Brand Strategy and Sales Enablement.  This team is responsible for the lead, demand generation and retention strategies that deliver on business goals through defining the clear value proposition for key products in order to maximize conversion.  Collaboration, communication and leadership are critical to the success in this role.  In order to achieve Autotrader and Cox Automotive’s business goals, the director will partner cross functionally with consumer marketing, sales division, product development and other stakeholders. 
• Clearly define the Autotrader B2B marketing strategy that creates positive disruption in the client marketplace to increase customer acquisition while minimizing attrition at the bottom of the funnel • Determine and measure Key Performance Indicators that drive marketing and business results• Lead strategy to deliver best in class, industry leading creative and messaging content that cuts through the marketing clutter and creates stickiness with our clients• Efficiently manage the B2B marketing budget through the thoughtful allocation of funds to support product launches, enhancements and A/B testing• Provide guidance and direction to agency partners to pull through the strategic narrative(s) for unique products that resonate with specific targets • Determine key media vehicles to deliver content that ultimately maximizes lead generation and calculate ROI with cross-channel attribution models to increase conversion• Work with the Omni-Channel division to ensure content for CRM, Autotrader B2B website and social aligns with strategic GTM approach• Develop a regular cadence of marketing campaigns that generate awareness of products, increases leads, reduces churn and increases conversions• Collaborate with sales and marketing management to ensure business objectives are met, teams are aligned with plans, and communications are clear• Ability to work in a matrixed-organization and laterally for products that cross lines within the digital retail solutions division  • Partner with sales leadership to lead and deliver best in class, always-on sales enablement strategy based on balance of analytics and collaboration, team feedback.• Work collaboratively with the Sales Team to continuously optimize content and collateral based on KPIs to ensure usage of key materials that provide highest level of conversion• Partner with product, sales and marketing teams to identify key thought leadership partnership opportunities for marketing• Inspire the team to take new and innovative steps to develop unique content, messaging, and thought leadership • Recruit, train and manage career development of team of high achieving marketers• Partner with marketing teams to develop event branding and content for large/critical industry events, and promote events and partnerships to different audiences via digital, print and social media channels • Develop robust event processes to ensure efficient and flawless execution of events

Qualifications:• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in marketing, product, business strategy• Bachelor's degree in a related field, MBA or equivalent Master's degree preferred• Experience across multiple facets of event marketing, including program management, event execution, communications and campaign development, brand strategy, and measurement.• Experience attracting, developing and leading a high performing B2B marketing team• Strong analytical experience, and continued comfort with digging deep in Excel• A proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment• Strong organization and project management skills with ability to multi-task• Exceptional communications skills and executive presence• Previous experience in Challenger methodology marketing implementation or ability to quickly master• Experience in leading teams that build multi-faceted campaigns brought to life using marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Eloqua, Marketo or Pardot and Seismic• Proven success record of collaborating with stakeholders to create and produce effective content deliverables• Demonstrated understanding of retail automotive industry preferred • Command of Microsoft Office suite
