The primary focus of the Content Marketing Manager will be to develop and deliver compelling content in support of strategic priorities and marketing objectives.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, edit and source compelling and relevant content for FaceBook/other social for fiction and non-fiction genres.  Define approach and develop strategy for expansion to increased sales to drive engagement and sales
  • Content development for newsletters and other materials to engage and maintain fiction/non-fiction audience
  • Develop strategy and digital content to support testing and new product development, review analytic trends and results to recommend launch strategies
  • Write, edit and source scripts for videos
  • Schedule content promotion coordinating with internal/external teams
  • Create email content leading to sales that is brand consistent
  • Create marketing content for e-commerce site/micro-sites and landing pages
  • Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and develop new products that utilize the rich content assets of Guideposts in repackaged ways for a digital audience
  • Create and/or brainstorm content and product that attains email addresses and/or new customers

Experience desired:

  • Degree in journalism, marketing or related field
  • Three to five years’ experience creating content marketing
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the organization in an agile structure
  • Understanding creating integrated content across all marketing channels
  • Creative vision and an understanding of business objectives
